We're hiring: Link Building & Outreach Specialist

Pexnet is a next-generation Local SEO service agency focused on helping local businesses improve their online visibility, search rankings, and organic growth. Our team works across Local SEO, Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, Local Search, link building, and other digital marketing services. As we continue to grow our organic presence and strengthen the authority of our websites and client websites, we are looking for an experienced Backlink & Off-Page SEO Expert to join our team.

Role Overview

We are looking for someone who understands that effective link building is not about generating hundreds of low-quality backlinks.

Your responsibility will be to research, acquire, and manage high-quality, relevant backlinks that improve domain authority, organic rankings, referral traffic, and overall search visibility.

You should have practical experience with modern, white-hat link-building strategies and be comfortable handling everything from competitor backlink analysis and prospecting to outreach and backlink monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute backlink and off-page SEO strategies.
• Research high-quality and niche-relevant backlink opportunities.
• Conduct competitor backlink analysis and identify link gaps.
• Find relevant websites, blogs, publications, directories, and resource pages for link acquisition.
• Handle manual outreach for guest posts, link insertions, resource links, and other relevant opportunities.
• Build relationships with website owners, editors, bloggers, and publishers.
• Identify opportunities for broken-link building and other white-hat strategies.
• Evaluate websites based on authority, relevance, organic traffic, spam signals, backlink profiles, and overall quality.
• Avoid PBNs, link farms, spammy directories, and other potentially harmful backlink sources.
• Monitor new, lost, and potentially toxic backlinks.
• Maintain organized records of outreach, acquired backlinks, costs, contacts, and results.
• Work closely with our SEO and content teams to determine which pages and keywords should receive links.
• Prepare regular reports showing backlink acquisition and SEO progress.

Requirements

We are specifically looking for someone with hands-on backlink-building experience, not someone with only general SEO knowledge.

You should understand how to distinguish a genuinely valuable backlink opportunity from a website created primarily for selling links.

You should have:

• Proven professional experience in link building and off-page SEO.
• Strong understanding of white-hat backlink strategies.
• Experience with manual outreach and relationship-based link acquisition.
• Good understanding of anchor-text strategy and backlink diversity.
• Ability to analyze backlink quality and identify spam signals.
• Experience researching competitor backlink profiles.
• Good written English for professional outreach.
• Strong research and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet monthly backlink targets.
• Experience using SEO and outreach tools.

• Demonstrable examples of backlinks acquired for previous projects.
• Ability to explain the strategy used to acquire those links.
• Understanding of technical and on-page SEO is a plus.
• Experience with international/English-language SEO campaigns is highly preferred.
• Experience working with USA-based local businesses will be a strong advantage.
