Web Development Intern — CMS & Full-Stack

Masleap Software Solutions partners with clients across the US and UK to design, build, and ship modern web and mobile products. We're looking for a curious, motivated Web Development Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience across CMS platforms, custom web development, and deployment workflows.

About the Role

This internship is ideal for someone who learns by building. You'll work alongside experienced developers on real client websites and web applications, gaining exposure to CMS platforms, custom development, and server-side operations. We value curiosity and problem-solving over deep expertise in any single technology — the right attitude matters most.

What You'll Work With

• CMS Platforms: WordPress, Wix, Shopify
• Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP
• Databases: MySQL, SQL, NoSQL
• Hosting & Infrastructure: cPanel, server management, backups, migrations, deployments
• Tools: Git/GitHub, Visual Studio Code, REST APIs, AJAX

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and customize websites, pages, and forms using WordPress, Wix, Shopify, and other CMS platforms
• Assist with custom WordPress theme/plugin development and custom web development
• Support databases, SQL queries, website hosting, cPanel, server management, backups, migrations, and deployments
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and website optimization for performance, security, SEO, accessibility, and responsiveness
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborate with the development team

What We're Looking For

• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and PHP
• Familiarity with WordPress architecture, theme/plugin development, and CMS platforms such as Wix and Shopify
• Basic understanding of MySQL, SQL queries, NoSQL databases, APIs, AJAX, and custom web development
• Familiarity with cPanel, hosting, server management, Git/GitHub, and Visual Studio Code
• Exposure to Gutenberg, REST APIs, custom post types, object-oriented programming, and website optimization is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-first attitude
• Willingness to learn quickly in a fast-moving, hands-on environment

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (final-year students are welcome to apply)
• No prior professional experience required — this role is designed for early-career candidates
