Water Quality Modeler

BETS Consulting Services Ltd. has been shortlisted to provide Consulting Services for the Project Preparatory Study for the Metro Dhaka Water Security and Resilience Program (Turag, Tongi Khal, Balu, and Shitalakhya Rivers) — BWDB Component, funded by the World Bank.

As part of our Technical Proposal, we are seeking a Water Quality Modeler to join our project team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or an equivalent field. A higher degree (PhD) in a relevant field is preferred.

Experiences:

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in water resources planning and water quality management within water resources management projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review of different treatment options for the improvement of water quality in the study area;
• Assessment of applicability and design of ecological engineered approaches for water quality enhancements;
• Comparison of the alternative plans for treatment;
• Review and develop biological indicator-based water quality monitoring approaches;
• Assist in report writing and presentation.
