Role Description The Waitress cum Hostess role is a full-time, on-site position based at Fortis Downtown Resort in Badda. This role is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing seating arrangements, and coordinating reservations to ensure an efficient flow of service in the restaurant and resort areas. Daily tasks include taking and serving food and beverage orders, responding to guest inquiries, handling phone calls for booking and information, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment. The Hostess Cum Waitress also collaborates closely with kitchen and service staff to support smooth operations and provide attentive, courteous customer service. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and peak holiday periods is required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Effective communication abilities, including clear verbal communication and confident interaction with diverse guests.
• Experience with reservations management and basic phone etiquette for handling calls and bookings.
• Ability to work on-site in Badda Thana on a full-time schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Prior experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or front-of-house roles is an advantage.
• Basic proficiency in English and local language for guest interaction; additional language skills are a plus.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and the ability to stand and move for extended periods.
