WE’RE HIRING: VIDEOGRAPHER & VIDEO EDITOR

Curtain Canvas is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Videographer & Video Editor to join our creative team.

We are looking for someone who can do more than simply shoot and edit videos. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of visual storytelling and the ability to turn creative concepts into polished, engaging content for brands and digital platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and execute professional video shoots for brand, corporate, promotional, and social media content

• Edit reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, interviews, and other digital content

• Handle camera operation, framing, composition, lighting, and shot planning

• Transform raw footage into polished and engaging final videos

• Work with color correction, sound design, transitions, basic motion graphics, and visual effects

• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to maintain brand consistency

• Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles, and social media content formats

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in videography and video editing

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional editing software

• Good understanding of camera operation, lighting, composition, and visual storytelling

• Strong sense of pacing, aesthetics, and attention to detail

• Experience creating content for social media platforms

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Must have their own professional videography gear, including a suitable camera and essential shooting equipment

ADDITIONAL SKILLS WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE

• Adobe After Effects

• Motion graphics

• Photography

• Commercial or brand video production experience

JOB DETAILS

• Position: Videographer & Video Editor

• Company: Curtain Canvas

• Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

• Salary: BDT 30,000–35,000 per month, depending on experience and skill level

• Working Days: 6 days a week, scheduled flexibly across the week

• Office Hours: Flexible

• Weekly Holiday: One day per week, which may vary

• Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

• Equipment Requirement: Candidates must have their own professional camera and essential videography gear
