About The Role

Launchouse is recruiting an experienced Video Production Manager on behalf of an Australian client building its own content-production team.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for the quality, consistency and timely delivery of video content across Australian and international client accounts.

You will lead a remote team of editors and act as the main link between client expectations, creative direction and production delivery. The position extends beyond video editing and requires strong judgement across content production, brand, team management, client communication and production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main production contact for clients and lead conversations confidently in English.
• Understand client goals and translate briefs, calls and feedback into clear, actionable direction for editors.
• Lead the day-to-day work of a remote editing team, including assigning projects, setting priorities and monitoring deadlines.
• Review every edit before client delivery, checking storytelling, hooks, pacing, shot selection, captions, motion, audio, colour, spelling and brand consistency.
• Ensure editors understand each client’s style, brand guidelines, references, assets and technical requirements.
• Keep project briefs, feedback, files and deadlines organised within a reliable project-management system.
• Communicate timelines proactively, identify potential risks early and develop practical plans to keep delivery on track.
• Maintain organised project files, versions, linked media, review exports, final deliveries and archives.
• Coach editors through clear, specific and respectful feedback.
• Help improve the team’s creative and technical standards over time.
• Stay current with social-video formats, editing tools, workflows and visual styles.
  
  

Essential Requirements

• At least four to five years of professional experience in video editing and content production.
• A high-quality portfolio demonstrating hands-on video editing and content-creation experience.
• Previous experience managing editors, including allocating work, reviewing output, giving feedback and monitoring deadlines.
• Excellent creative and editorial judgement.
• Strong understanding of brand and design principles, including typography, colour, composition, visual hierarchy and consistency.
• Experience producing social-first and short-form content, including hooks, retention, captions, pacing and platform-specific formats.
• Professional proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition and Media Encoder.
• Fluent professional English with strong spoken and written communication.
• Confidence communicating directly with Australian and international clients.
• Ability to interpret client feedback and translate it into precise creative instructions.
• Strong project-management, documentation, file-management and prioritisation skills.
• Reliable internet, a suitable remote-working environment and a professional editing and review setup.
• A strong sense of ownership, reliability and calm problem-solving under pressure.
  
  

Employment arrangement

This position is open to candidates based in Bangladesh. The successful candidate must be available for an agreed working-hour overlap with Australian clients and respond reliably during the agreed communication window.
