Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Khulna, Bangladesh. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, and creating polished video content that aligns with project goals and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include editing video sequences, applying color grading, integrating motion graphics and titles, and collaborating closely with producers, videographers, and graphic designers. The role also involves organizing project files, managing media assets, and delivering final outputs in appropriate formats and resolutions. The Video Editor is expected to contribute creative ideas, maintain consistent quality standards, and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including working with various camera formats and timelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and high-quality image output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Solid understanding of sound design basics, file formats, codecs, and exporting workflows for web and social media platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field is beneficial; prior professional or freelance editing experience is a plus.
