Job Description
We are looking for a creative and newsroom-oriented Video Editor & Cinematographer who can take complete responsibility for multimedia content — from idea, research, scripting and shooting to editing, voice-over, presentation and final publication.
The candidate will produce news videos, interviews, explainers, features, documentaries, reels, shorts and other digital-first content.
Responsibilities include cinematography, camera operation, lighting, audio recording, video editing, colour correction, sound design, subtitles, basic motion graphics, scripting and voice-over. The person should also be confident appearing on camera or presenting when required.
Applicants should have strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software, along with a good understanding of visual storytelling, journalism, current affairs and social media formats.
Knowledge of After Effects, photography, mobile journalism and AI-assisted multimedia production will be an advantage.
We are looking for someone creative, responsible, deadline-driven and capable of managing a story from concept to final screen.
