Video Editor

We’re not looking for someone who simply knows how to cut video.

We’re looking for a storyteller with an editing timeline.

StarConnect is building a new kind of platform around access, experts, creators and personalities. Our content needs to feel modern, human and impossible to scroll past.

What you’ll do

• Edit short-form content for Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit long-form interviews, shows and branded content.
• Turn one production into multiple high-performing content pieces.
• Create strong hooks, pacing, transitions, subtitles and visual storytelling.
• Work with the content and social team to shape edits around the platform and audience.
• Maintain a consistent StarConnect visual language.
• Continuously experiment with formats, pacing and editing styles based on performance.

We’re looking for

• 4+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong command of Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, Canva, Final Cut or similar tools.
• Excellent sense of pacing, storytelling and music.
• Understanding of short-form content and retention.
• Ability to make raw footage feel alive.
• Fast, organised and comfortable working with deadlines.
• Bonus: motion graphics, sound design, colour grading or experience editing podcasts/ interviews/creator content.

Your job isn’t to make a video look good.

Your job is to make people keep watching.
