Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing videos for various digital platforms, and applying transitions, effects, and sound design to produce high-quality content aligned with brand guidelines. Daily tasks include collaborating with creative, marketing, and social media teams to develop video concepts, optimizing videos for different formats and aspect ratios, and maintaining consistent visual style across projects. The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics work, exporting and archiving files, and staying current with industry trends, tools, and best practices. The Video Editor is expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including structuring narratives, trimming footage, and syncing audio.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone, correct exposure, and enhance overall image quality.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animations, titles, lower thirds, and visually engaging elements.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
• Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of social media and digital content formats are preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, accept feedback constructively, and work under tight deadlines is important.
• Relevant experience in a production studio or creative agency, and a portfolio showcasing previous video projects, will be advantageous.
