Role Description The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos, including short-form social media content, branded videos, and marketing campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include assembling and trimming clips, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and refining pacing and narrative flow. The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics, and collaborating with creative team members to align visuals with brand guidelines and project objectives. The Video Editor will manage multiple projects, organize media assets, follow feedback cycles, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content optimized for various platforms.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Video Editing skills, including timeline management, storytelling through edits, and familiarity with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe after effects).
• Candidates should possess Video Production skills, such as understanding camera formats, frame rates, and workflows from pre-production through post-production.
• Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills, including color correction, look development, and maintaining visual consistency across sequences.
• Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills, including creating simple animations, and on-screen elements using tools like After Effects or similar.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, basic sound editing and mixing, familiarity with social media platforms and aspect ratios, and the ability to work collaboratively under deadlines.
