About the Role

We are looking for a creative and highly capable Video Editor to join the Kahf team and create engaging video content for Kahf Kids. You will be responsible for producing high-retention short-form and long-form videos for social media, marketing campaigns, product promotions, and educational content.

The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, visual communication, and current digital content trends. You should be comfortable experimenting with new creative approaches and using AI-powered tools to make production faster, smarter, and more effective — while ensuring all content aligns with Islamic values and Kahf's brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and product promotions.
• Create engaging, platform-optimized content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
• Produce high-retention and viral-style content while maintaining Islamic values and Kahf's brand guidelines.
• Create motion graphics, animated text, transitions, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
• Use AI-powered tools for ideation, editing, subtitles, voice enhancement, background removal, and other creative workflows.
• Edit promotional videos, app walkthroughs, feature demonstrations, testimonials, and educational content.
• Create video advertisements for Meta, Google, TikTok, and other digital marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to understand creative briefs and deliver high-quality work with minimal revisions.
• Research emerging video trends, editing styles, hooks, and storytelling techniques, and contribute new creative ideas.
• Organize project files and consistently deliver assigned projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience; strong portfolios from fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, motion graphics, typography, sound design, and visual composition.
• Experience creating short-form content designed for strong audience retention.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and execute projects independently with minimal feedback.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and modern video-production workflows.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Creative mindset with the ability to suggest new ideas and improvements.
• Preferred QualificationsExperience writing video scripts, hooks, or captions.
• Strong creative direction and visual storytelling skills.
• Experience developing viral social media content or creative concepts independently.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation, particularly in After Effects or similar tools.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Veo, Canva AI, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with mobile apps, SaaS products, educational platforms, or Islamic brands.

Workplace & Hours

• Location: Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka
• Working Days: 5 days a week (Sunday – Thursday); Friday and Saturday off
• Working Hours: 9-hour workday including break time
• Work Mode: On-site

Compensation

• Salary Range: BDT 20k–35k (based on experience and skills)
