Calendar: UK working calendar and public holidays

Salary: BDT 100,000 - 120,000 / month ( based on experience )

About the Role

Arbree Limited is looking for an experienced US Tax Trainer & Team Lead on behalf of our esteemed UK-based client.

The firm is a specialist international tax practice serving high-net-worth individuals and expatriates across the United Kingdom, United States, and other major global markets, working closely with its London office.

As the Bangladesh team is being built from the ground up, you will play a key role in shaping its people, processes, and technical standards. We are looking for someone who is not only a strong technical tax professional but also a natural trainer and mentor; someone who enjoys developing people and guiding complete beginners toward competency.

You will serve as the technical backbone and go-to trainer for the Bangladesh team, training and mentoring team members, reviewing their work, and helping them develop strong practical US tax knowledge. You will also have the opportunity to gradually expand your expertise into UK taxation as the team and practice grow.

If you love teaching as much as you love tax - explaining the ‘why’ behind a Form 3520, patiently coaching a fresher through their first 1040, and setting the technical standard for a new team - this role is built for you.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership

• Act as final reviewer for US individual income tax returns and related filings (Forms 1040, 1040NR, foreign tax credit calculations, FBAR/FATCA, Forms 8938, 3520, 3520-A, 8621, K-1 reporting, expatriate and cross-border matters)
• Identify technical issues early and provide practical, defensible solutions
• Maintain and continuously improve quality control procedures across the practice
• Training & Team Development
• Design and deliver structured training for juniors and complete freshers - from foundational US tax concepts to advanced international reporting
• Build training materials, workflows, and onboarding programs that scale as the team grows
• Provide hands-on coaching, real-time feedback, and technical mentorship
• Support recruitment and help assess technical aptitude in new hires

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a key technical point of contact for the London office
• Participate in team meetings and technical discussions
• Help ensure high-quality client service and consistent deadline delivery

What You Bring

• 5+ years of US personal tax compliance and advisory experience
• Strong, demonstrable experience reviewing complex individual US tax returns
• Proven experience training, coaching, or mentoring junior staff or freshers - this is essential, not a nice-to-have
• Comfort working directly with client-related issues
• Exposure to international tax, expatriate taxation, foreign reporting, and HNW individuals (highly desirable)
• UK tax exposure is a plus, but not required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, or related field
• EA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent preferred; Master's is a plus
• Excellent, professional-level spoken and written English, you'll be training teams and liaising directly with London daily
• Strong leadership presence, patience, and genuine interest in developing people
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak filing seasons
