The bank is seeking a qualified and purpose-driven professional for the following position within its General Services Division in the following position:

Grade: VP – SVP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the Procurement Centre of Excellence, driving governance, standards and continuous improvement across the procurement lifecycle.
• Own procurement intake, classification and governance, aligned with value, complexity, risk and business criticality.
• Establish and strengthen procurement policies, SOPs, controls and risk-based assurance frameworks.
• Drive procurement performance management, including TAT, savings, cost avoidance, compliance, exceptions and audit remediation.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing and Pre-Acquisition QA to develop effective sourcing and negotiation strategies.
• Lead procurement digitalisation, automation and process optimisation to enhance efficiency, transparency and control.
• Build procurement capabilities and stakeholder partnerships across Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology and business functions.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• A postgraduate or graduate degree from a UGC-approved university with a satisfactory academic track record.
• A minimum of 17 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, commercial management, procurement governance or technology procurement.
• Strong command of complex commercial evaluation, total cost analysis, contract governance, negotiation planning, vendor management and enterprise-level procurement.
• Proven experience in leading procurement governance, policy development, process assurance, performance reporting, audit remediation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
