Role Description The Travel Agent role at Maha Travel Services is a full-time, on-site position based in Sunamganj Sadar Upazila. The Travel Agent will handle day-to-day travel arrangements for clients, including flight, hotel, and car rental reservations, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all bookings. Responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their travel needs, providing suitable options, and issuing tickets and confirmations. The role involves managing reservation systems, responding to inquiries, resolving booking issues, and offering proactive customer service. The Travel Agent will also support sales initiatives by promoting agency services, packages, and offers, and maintaining organized records of all transactions.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Reservations and Travel Arrangements, with the ability to coordinate flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
• Proven Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and problem-solving when assisting travelers.
• Experience with Car Rental bookings and related travel services, ensuring smooth end-to-end client journeys.
• Sales skills, including the ability to recommend services, upsell packages, and build long-term client relationships.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and use of reservation or booking systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Sunamganj Sadar Upazila and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and online booking platforms.
• Prior experience in a travel agency or hospitality environment is an advantage; relevant certification or training in travel and tourism is a plus.
