Mission Of The Position

The Trainer – Soft Skills will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality employability and life skills training for youth participants under the JAGORON Project. The position will equip young women and men with essential workplace competencies, interpersonal skills, career readiness, and professional behaviors required to secure and sustain decent employment or successfully pursue entrepreneurship.

The Trainer will work closely with the Skills Development, Career Services, and Private Sector Engagement teams to ensure that soft skills training complements technical and vocational training and meets labor market expectations.

Key Performance Areas And Main Responsibilities

Training Planning and Delivery

• Conduct soft skills training sessions for project participants using participatory and learner-centered methodologies.
• Deliver training on employability skills, workplace readiness, and life skills.
• Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly training plans.
• Customize training materials to address local labor market demands and participant needs.
• Ensure inclusive and gender-responsive training approaches.
• Facilitate both face-to-face and online learning sessions where applicable.
