Role Description The Trainee Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chhatak Upazila. The Trainee Officer will support day-to-day branch operations, including customer service, account opening, transaction processing, and documentation. The role involves learning and applying bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and standard operating procedures under the supervision of senior colleagues. The Trainee Officer will assist in preparing reports, maintaining records, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all activities. This position offers structured training, mentoring, and exposure to various banking functions, with opportunities for progression based on performance.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to handle transactions and data accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Basic understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements (prior internship or coursework in finance or banking is an advantage).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and comfort with core banking systems and digital tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Chhatak Upazila, maintain professional ethics, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and develop within the banking sector.
