Telemarketing & Social Media Executive

We are looking for a Telemarketing & Social Media Executive to join our education consultancy team. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling initial communication with prospective students through phone calls, Facebook/Instagram messages, WhatsApp, and other social media channels.

The role is focused on lead response, initial communication, basic lead qualification, and proper lead distribution to the Student Counselling Team.

Candidates with previous experience in an education consultancy or study-abroad company will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other social media inquiries.
• Make outbound calls to newly generated leads and communicate with prospective students.
• Handle the initial conversation with students who are interested in studying abroad.
• Understand students' basic requirements, such as: Preferred study destination, Intended course/subject, Academic background, English proficiency/IELTS status, Study intake & Basic budget and other relevant information.
• Qualify leads based on the information collected during the initial conversation.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, follow-ups, and lead status.
• Identify genuine and relevant prospects and distribute/assign qualified leads to the appropriate counselling team.
• Follow up with leads when required before handing them over to the counselling team.
• Coordinate with the counselling team to ensure smooth lead handover.
• Monitor and respond to social media messages within the required response time.
• Maintain professional and friendly communication with prospective students.
• Support the team in improving lead response and conversion processes.
• Prepare basic daily/weekly updates regarding calls, messages, leads contacted, qualified leads, and handed-over leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience with CRM software is an advantage.
• Previous experience in an Education Consultancy / Study Abroad Consultancy / Student Recruitment company is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English.
• Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously.

Salary

• BDT 15,000 – 25,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
