Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Support Expert role based in Sreemangal Upazila. The Technical Support Expert will provide day-to-day technical assistance for journal management systems, online submission platforms, and related IT tools. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, supporting editorial and production teams, and assisting authors and reviewers with access, login, and configuration problems. The role involves monitoring system performance, maintaining documentation of recurring issues and solutions, and coordinating with external service providers when required. The Technical Support Expert will also contribute to improving user experience by identifying technical bottlenecks and recommending practical enhancements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and web-based systems.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Support and Communication skills to assist internal teams, authors, and reviewers.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, interpret error logs, and propose effective solutions.
• Relevant experience with journal management systems, academic publishing platforms, or similar content management tools is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, operating systems, and basic cybersecurity practices is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, international academic environment and manage multiple support requests efficiently.
