Tea Lounge Manager

Job Context:

Halda Valley Tea Lounge is looking for an energetic, honest, hardworking and experienced Tea Lounge Manager to lead our premium tea lounge and help build a distinctive tea-based experience zone integrated with a semi-fine dining restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the entire lounge team, ensuring discipline, teamwork, grooming, service standards and productivity.

Take ownership of daily outlet operations, sales, customer experience and profitability.

Have strong practical knowledge of restaurant service, kitchen operations and F&B management.

Drive sales growth through effective team management, customer engagement and operational excellence.

Manage inventory, purchasing, stock control, wastage, costing and P&L with accuracy.

Maintain proper systems and ensure honest, accurate and timely reporting to management on sales, inventory, costs, staff performance and operational issues.

Train, motivate and develop the team to consistently deliver premium service standards.

Understand and protect the Halda Valley Tea brand identity, values and premium positioning.

Work closely with management to develop the lounge into a unique tea, food and hospitality experience, connected with our tea garden and broader F&B business.

Be proactive, problem-solving and willing to take ownership and challenges rather than simply manage routine operations.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

Proven experience in restaurant / café / premium F&B operations, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.

Strong team leadership and people-management skills.

Sound knowledge of restaurant sales, service, kitchen coordination, inventory, purchasing, costing and P&L.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

A strong sense of integrity, accountability and responsibility.

The energy, maturity and vision to build something new and make it successful.

This is not just a restaurant management position. We are looking for someone who can become a true custodian of the brand and take ownership of building a remarkable tea & food experience.
