Role Description The Tax Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Tax Consultant will provide tax planning and advisory services, prepare and review tax returns, and support clients with compliance requirements under applicable tax laws and regulations. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial documents, identifying tax-saving opportunities, preparing documentation for tax audits, and responding to client queries on tax matters. The role also involves staying updated on changes in tax legislation, drafting technical summaries for clients, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver accurate, timely tax solutions. The Tax Consultant is expected to maintain high ethical standards, protect client confidentiality, and contribute to internal process improvements.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation to develop strategies and accurately prepare client tax filings.
• Demonstrated experience in Tax Compliance and Tax Audits to ensure adherence to regulations and manage audit-related documentation and responses.
• Solid understanding of Tax Law and relevant regulations in Bangladesh to interpret and apply legal requirements in client engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field; professional certifications in taxation or accounting are an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting and tax software, strong analytical and numerical skills, and attention to detail in reviewing financial data.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to clients.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, manage multiple client engagements, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
