Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Counselor role based in Dhaka. The Student Counselor will guide prospective and current students through academic and career pathways, including program selection, university options, and international placement opportunities. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, providing information about study destinations, admission processes, and language preparation services, and responding to student inquiries in person, via phone, and online channels. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with internal teams to support applications and documentation, and participating in seminars, workshops, and outreach activities. The Student Counselor will also help ensure an inclusive, supportive environment and deliver high-quality customer service to students and their families.
Qualifications

• Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills, with the ability to guide learners on academic and international study pathways.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English and Bangla.
• Solid Customer Service skills, with a student-focused mindset and the ability to handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Understanding of Education systems and international study processes, including admissions, visas, and language test requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications in counseling are an advantage.
• Prior experience in student advising, overseas education consulting, or academic administration is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, manage multiple cases at once, and use common office and communication software effectively.
• High ethical standards, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to supporting diverse student backgrounds.
