Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Student Counselor based in Dhaka, Malaysia. The Student Counselor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in choosing career paths, academic courses, and institutions. Daily responsibilities include one-on-one counseling, assisting with applications, conducting workshops or seminars, and guiding students through admission and visa processes. The role will also involve maintaining updated knowledge about local and international educational programs and institutions.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills
• Experience in guiding students with career planning and academic development
• Familiarity with educational programs, scholarship opportunities, and admission processes
• Problem-solving and multitasking skills, along with attention to detail
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for documentation, scheduling, and communication
• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Prior experience in a counseling or academic advisory role is advantageous
• A passion for education and empowering students to achieve their goals
