- Operate, monitor and maintain the hospital's STP and ETP systems.
- Monitor key treatment parameters such as pH, DO, TSS, MLSS, chemical dosing and flow rate.
- Inspect and maintain pumps, blowers, aeration systems, dosing systems, filters, tanks, pipelines and related equipment.
- Ensure proper operation of biological and chemical wastewater treatment processes.
- Maintain daily operational logs, equipment records, chemical consumption records and maintenance reports.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of STP/ETP equipment.
- Identify equipment faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and process-related problems.
- Monitor treated wastewater quality and ensure compliance with applicable environmental requirements.
- Supervise sludge handling, dewatering and safe disposal activities.
- Ensure proper storage and safe handling of treatment chemicals.
- Coordinate with laboratory personnel for wastewater sampling and testing.
- Supervise STP/ETP operators, technicians and third-party service providers.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly plant performance reports.
- Maintain adequate stock of chemicals, spare parts and essential maintenance materials.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repair, servicing and equipment replacement.
- Support the Engineering Department in WTP, plumbing, sanitary and other hospital utility systems when required.
- Respond promptly to plant breakdowns and emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with hospital EHS, safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
- Experience: 1-3 years
- Education: bachelor of science in environmental engineering
