We are looking for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented Store in Charge / Purchase Officer to oversee inventory management, daily receiving, store issuing, and vendor procurement for our hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming food & beverage items, guest supplies, operational equipment, and cleaning materials against purchase orders and invoices.
- Store items systematically following standard FIFO (First In, First Out) and hygiene protocols in dry, cold, and general store areas.
- Maintain accurate store ledgers, stock registers, and inventory management software/ERP updates.
- Monitor reorder levels to prevent stockouts of critical kitchen ingredients and daily amenities.
- Process internal requisitions from kitchen, housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance teams in a timely manner.
- Liaise with local suppliers and market vendors to source high-quality produce and supplies at competitive rates.
- Perform monthly physical stock counts, reconcile balance differences, and report wastage or discrepancies to management.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and security standards within the storage area.
- Experience: At least 1 year
