Sr Quantity Surveyor

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr Quantity Surveyor located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Sr Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), perform quantity take-offs, and support tender preparation and evaluation. The role involves leading cost planning, cost control, and cost management activities throughout the project lifecycle, including budgeting, value engineering, and variation analysis. The Sr Quantity Surveyor will monitor and update cost reports, support contract administration, and provide regular financial progress updates to project management. The position also includes coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate measurements, timely documentation, and alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

• Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management skills.
• Proficiency in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting for construction and steel fabrication projects.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing BOQ, with accurate quantity take-offs and measurements.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, tendering procedures, and variation/claims management.
• Ability to work with estimating and QS software, and strong MS Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in steel structures, fabrication, or building construction projects, preferably in a senior QS role.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with site teams, contractors, and clients.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Dhaka and manage multiple projects or tasks within deadlines.
