Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Check and verify contractor bills according to approval BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and work complete status.
- Ensure all supporting documents such as work orders, measurement sheets, and approval are attached.
- Coordinate with engineers or project managers for bill verifications.
- Maintain detail records of project expenditure.
- Track project budgets and monitor cost variation.
- Prepare project wise cost reports and update management regularly.
- Verify supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain proper documentation of bills, invoices and payment approvals.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements regularly.
- Assist in managing company bank accounts and transactions.
- Maintain records for VAT, Tax deduction at Source (TDS) and other regulatory requirements.
- Keep proper documentation of contracts, payment approvals and financial statements.
- Handling bank transactions and reconciliations.
Compensation & Other Benefits:

Requirements
Education:
- Masters in Accounting & Finance (BBA/MBA in Accounting preferred)
Experience:
- 5 to 7 Years of experience in accounting within construction or real estate companies.
- Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks or similar)
Additional Requirements:
- Age at least 32 years
Required Skills :
- Knowledge of BOQ, Contractor billing and construction cost accounting.
- Familiarity with VAT and Tax regulations in Bangladesh.
- Good communication and coordination ability with project and side teams.
Other Requirements:
- Honest, responsible, and committed to timelines.
