- Establish and maintain appropriate quality standards, specifications, and tolerances (AQL) for raw materials, production processes, and finished products in accordance with the Quality Manual and buyer requirements.
- Ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Monitor the inspection of raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories, including relevant durability, color, and quality testing.
- Monitor and control quality at all stages of production, including cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, assembling, washing, finishing, and packing.
- Supervise inline quality inspections and quantity checks against production orders and approved standards.
- Identify quality deviations, recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Monitor final/random inspections to ensure finished products meet required quality standards and buyer specifications.
- Conduct regular quality meetings to review quality performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions in line with buyer requirements.
- Monitor fabric inspection from the initial stage through to final shipment.
- Identify quality-related training needs and arrange/coordinate appropriate training programs for the quality team.
- Develop and enhance the technical capabilities of local quality personnel through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with Production, Merchandising, Technical, and other relevant departments to ensure consistent product quality.
