- Assist in preparing and designing the layout of Man, Machine and Materials to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, manpower requirements and production standards.
- Prepare and maintain Operation Breakdown (OB) for different production processes.
- Assist in SMV (Standard Minute Value) calculation and set production targets accordingly.
- Conduct Motion Study and Line Balancing based on production capacity and WIP (Work in Progress) requirements.
- Identify, analyze and eliminate bottlenecks in production operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Work closely with production personnel to establish and implement best production practices.
- Conduct skill tests and skill assessments for production workers.
- Plan and set daily and weekly production targets based on capacity and production requirements.
- Implement various productivity improvement systems and methods to minimize production costs and increase factory efficiency.
- Coordinate with Production and Merchandising Departments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
- Monitor line efficiency, productivity, capacity and target achievement on a regular basis.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
- Support manpower planning and ensure optimum utilization of workers and production resources.
- Prepare and maintain necessary IE reports, production analysis and performance records.
- Support management in implementing continuous improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives
- Experience: 3-5 years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
