- Manage end-to-end import and export commercial operations, including L/C, TT, DP and other international payment arrangements.
- Prepare, check, and coordinate Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Health/Phytosanitary Certificate, Insurance, COA, SGS documents and other trade-related documents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, banks, C&F agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs authorities and other stakeholders.
- Handle Import L/C opening, amendments, document scrutiny, retirement and related banking formalities.
- Monitor export documentation, shipment schedules, EXP-related matters, realization of export proceeds and banking compliance.
- Maintain proper records of L/Cs, import/export shipments, commercial documents, bank correspondence and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers and buyers regarding orders, contracts, shipment schedules, documentation and payment terms.
- Coordinate with C&F agents and logistics teams for customs clearance, port operations, container movement and delivery.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely submission and collection of required documents.
- Assist management in international sourcing, supplier communication, price negotiation and commercial correspondence.
- Prepare commercial reports, shipment status reports, import/export summaries and other management reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Bangladesh Bank, Customs, NBR, CCI&E, port and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform other commercial and international trade-related duties assigned by management.
- Maintain, monitor, and regularly update all company licenses, registrations, certificates, permits, and statutory documents required for business operations.
- Ensure timely renewal, amendment, and updating of company licenses and regulatory documents before their expiry dates.
- Handle documentation and follow-up for IRC, ERC, BIN/VAT, Trade License, Chamber/Membership certificates, Fire License, Environmental Clearance, Factory-related licenses, and other applicable registrations and permits
- Perform any other commercial, documentation, licensing, compliance, and regulatory responsibilities assigned by management.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years
- Education: bachelor of business administration (bba)
- Skills: back office operations, import/export operations, customs documentation, import/export compliance, international trade regulations, customs compliance, customs brokerage, export management, administrative tasks, import logistics
