- Conduct method study, time study and operation breakdown for all sewing styles.
- Followup pre-production activities, process simplification and MMR control in sewing section.
- Prepare SMV (Standard Minute Value) and manpower requirements.
- Develop and implement efficient line layouts and line balancing.
- Monitor sewing line performance, efficiency and productivity.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze production data and provide recommendations for efficiency improvement.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality and Technical teams to achieve production targets.
- Ensure optimal machine and manpower utilization.
- Lead capacity planning and production forecasting activities.
- Train and develop IE team members on best industrial engineering practices.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
- Experience: 5-10 years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
- Skills: manufacturing engineering, technical knowledge of garment production, garment industry knowledge, production engineering, garment production, manufacturing operations management, production management, maintenance engineering, garment manufacturing
