Job Location: Dhaka (On-site)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Work closely with development teams to understand software architecture and technical specifications.
• Design comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Execute test cases for various software components, including front-end, back-end, and integrations.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing as needed
• Utilize various testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, regression) to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues not covered by existing test cases.
• Create and manage test data sets to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Collaborate with end-users to conduct UAT and gather feedback.
• Reproduce and analyze defects to determine their root cause and severity.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the bug tracking system.
• Provide detailed information to developers to assist in defect resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing using tools like Selenium, Appium or Katalon.
• Utilize automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Azure Test Plans) to improve testing efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve testing processes and efficiency.
• Enhance and maintain automated CI flows to ensure reliable software releases.
• Manage test cases, defect tracking, and validation processes within Azure DevOps.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in manual & automation testing.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with manual testing and automated testing frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN) and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
