Techno Green-Carbon Limited (TGCL) is looking for a skilled and responsible Solar Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of electrical safety and field-level solar installation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems
- Connect and configure inverters, batteries, MPPT charge controllers, and protection devices
- Perform DC/AC wiring, MC4 connections, circuit breaker & SPD installation, and proper earthing
- Mount solar panel structures according to approved layouts and technical specifications
- Ensure proper cable routing, dressing, and labeling
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance verification
- Identify and resolve electrical, wiring, and system-related issues at project sites
- Maintain electrical, occupational health, and site safety standards
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and project teams
- Submit regular work progress updates and site reports
- Maintain tools, equipment, and installation materials at project sites.
- Minimum SSC / HSC / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Power Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline
- Solar PV installation training or certification will be an advantage
- Experience: 1 to 2 years
- Education: Minimum SSC / HSC / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Power Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline, Solar PV installation training or certification will be an advantage
- Skills: Solar PV Installation, Solar energy, Solar Power Systems, On-Grid Solar Systems, Off-Grid Solar Systems, Hybrid Solar Systems, Electrical Wiring, Electrical troubleshooting
