Digital Marketing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer with strong real-world industrial experience in testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs, databases, and software systems.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of professional industrial experience in software quality assurance and should be capable of independently planning, executing, documenting, and managing software testing activities throughout the development lifecycle.
Candidates with practical experience working on real client projects, production applications, SaaS platforms, e-commerce systems, mobile applications, REST APIs, and database-driven applications will receive strong preference.
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must have:
✔ Minimum 2 years of real-world industrial experience in Software QA/QC or Software Testing.
✔ Practical experience testing Web Applications and Mobile Applications.
✔ Strong knowledge of Manual Testing and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
✔ Experience preparing test cases, test scenarios, test plans, test reports, and bug reports.
✔ Practical experience identifying, reproducing, documenting, and tracking software defects.
✔ Experience with API testing and REST APIs.
✔ Basic-to-strong understanding of SQL and database testing.
✔ Experience testing responsive websites across different browsers and devices.
✔ Experience working with development teams using Git/GitHub or similar version-control systems.

Core QA Responsibilities:
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Web Application Testing
✔ Test web applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile environments.
✔ Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
✔ Verify website functionality, UI consistency, navigation, forms, authentication, dashboards, payment flows, and business logic.
✔ Test different browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and other relevant browsers.
✔ Identify UI/UX inconsistencies and functional defects.
✔ Verify responsive behavior across different screen sizes and devices.
✔ Test e-commerce platforms, checkout processes, product systems, order management, payment gateways, and customer workflows.
Mobile Application Testing:
✔ Test Android and iOS applications.
✔ Perform functional and regression testing of mobile applications.
✔ Test application installation, updates, login, registration, notifications, permissions, forms, navigation, and core features.
✔ Test applications across different screen sizes, operating-system versions, and devices.
✔ Identify mobile-specific issues including crashes, performance problems, UI inconsistencies, connectivity issues, and device compatibility problems.
✔ Test applications under different network conditions such as Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G.
✔ Verify push notifications, deep links, app permissions, and device-specific functionality.
API Testing:
✔ Test REST APIs and web services.
✔ Validate API requests, responses, status codes, headers, authentication, and data structures.
✔ Work with tools such as Postman or equivalent API testing tools.
✔ Test positive, negative, boundary, and invalid-input scenarios.
✔ Verify API response accuracy and consistency.
✔ Identify API-related bugs and integration issues.
✔ Validate API communication between frontend, backend, mobile applications, and third-party services.
Database & SQL Testing:
✔ Perform basic database testing and data validation.
✔ Write and execute SQL queries for testing and verification.
✔ Verify data consistency between frontend, backend, API, and database layers.
✔ Validate CRUD operations and database-driven workflows.
✔ Identify data integrity and synchronization issues.
✔ Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
Bug Reporting & Defect Management
✔ Identify and reproduce software bugs.
✔ Prepare clear and detailed bug reports containing:
- Bug title
- Steps to reproduce
- Expected result
- Actual result
- Severity
- Priority
- Environment
- Screenshots/videos
- Relevant logs or evidence
✔ Track bugs through their complete lifecycle.
✔ Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
✔ Work closely with developers to identify the root cause and reproduce technical issues.
✔ Maintain professional communication with developers, project managers, product teams, and management.
Test Planning & Documentation:
✔ Prepare test plans and testing strategies.
✔ Create detailed test cases and test scenarios.
✔ Maintain test execution reports.
✔ Prepare regression test suites.
✔ Maintain QA documentation for ongoing projects.
✔ Participate in requirement analysis and identify potential quality risks before development completion.
✔ Ensure software requirements are properly covered through testing.
✔ Provide release-readiness feedback to project management.
Automation Testing – Preferred:
Experience with automation testing will be highly preferred.
Candidates with experience in any of the following will receive additional consideration:
