Software Engineer

Masuda Group is seeking a Software Engineer to design, scale, and maintain high-throughput backend services and web applications across our Experience Management (XM) platforms and data infrastructure.

In this role, you will hold end-to-end technical ownership over mission-critical services, translating complex system requirements into scalable software architectures that process millions of events daily and operate reliably across distributed multi-cloud environments.

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate / JPA
• Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, RxJS
• Databases & Storage: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis
• Messaging & APIs: Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, gRPC, RESTful APIs
• Infrastructure & Cloud: AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
• CI/CD & Tooling: GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle, Git

• Architect, implement, and maintain high-performance microservices and distributed APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build modular, responsive web applications and high-density analytics interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
• Design, model, and optimize schemas across PostgreSQL (transactional) and ClickHouse (columnar analytical) for high data ingestion rates and sub-second query performance.
• Implement low-latency distributed caching and session management layers using Redis.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale containerized services across AWS and GCP using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write clean, maintainable, and comprehensively tested code with automated unit, integration, and performance test suites.
• Participate in architectural reviews, design discussions, and systematic code evaluations to maintain high engineering standards.
• Partner with product managers and infrastructure engineers to deliver complex platform features with predictable release velocity.

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS, distributed systems, or full-stack environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Java and the Spring framework ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data).
• Strong hands-on experience building web applications with Angular, TypeScript, and reactive state patterns (RxJS).
• Proven ability in relational database design, complex SQL authoring, and query optimization with PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience with containerized deployments (Docker) and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, REST API design principles, and secure coding standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.

• Experience with columnar / analytical databases (ClickHouse) and large-scale data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Kubernetes orchestration in production environments.
