Prime NOW is looking for an experienced Software Developer to build and scale the
payment infrastructure behind Bangladesh's first digital-only banking offering —
covering card payments, MFS, internet banking, and QR-based transactions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and integrate APIs for card payments, MFS, internet banking, and QR-based transactions
- Build secure backend modules for authorization, capture, refund, reversal, and settlement
- Implement routing logic across multiple acquirers, PSPs, and card schemes (Visa, Mastercard)
- Work with Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay processing flows, BIN routing, and dispute handling
- Integrate with card switches (e.g., NPSB, OMNISWITCH, ICS, Thales HSM-based systems)
- Implement and maintain ISO 8583 messaging, including transaction pack/unpack, field mapping, and bitmap operations
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java / .NET)
- Hands-on experience with Visa/Mastercard integration (authentication, clearing, settlement)
- Strong understanding of ISO 8583, bitmaps, DE fields, and pack/unpack
- Experience integrating with card switches or payment processors
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, JWT, and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Understanding of encryption, tokenization, HSM, and secure coding practices
- Experience with EMV, 3D Secure, ACS, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, or Kafka/RabbitMQ is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
