Social Media Moderator

Quest Educare is looking for a creative, responsive and socially savvy Social Media Moderator to join our growing team. If you understand social media culture, can communicate confidently with students and audiences, and know how to turn everyday interactions into meaningful engagement, this role is for you.

• Monitor and manage Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms, including comments, inboxes, mentions and community interactions.
• Respond to student inquiries, comments, direct messages and feedback promptly and professionally while maintaining Quest Educare's brand voice.
• Moderate comments and user generated content by identifying spam, inappropriate, offensive or misleading content and taking appropriate action.
• Escalate complex student queries, complaints or sensitive issues to the relevant counseling, marketing or management team.
• Maintain a positive, informative and engaging online community around Quest Educare.
• Identify frequently asked questions, audience concerns and trending topics and share insights with the marketing team.
• Develop creative content ideas, social media hooks and short form scripts based on current trends and student interests.
• Support the planning and execution of Facebook/Instagram Live sessions, Q&A sessions and other interactive social media activities.
• Assist in publishing and scheduling social media content while ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely posting.
• Stay updated with social media trends, platform features, memes, formats and audience behavior relevant to Gen Z and student audiences.
• Coordinate with the content and creative team to improve engagement, reach and community interaction.
• Maintain records of common queries, engagement patterns and community feedback for regular reporting.
• Support social media campaigns, events and student engagement activities when required.

• Bachelor’s/Honours degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, English, Business or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in social media moderation, community management, customer engagement, content writing or social media management.
• Experience managing Facebook and Instagram pages, inboxes and comments will be highly preferred.
• Experience in education consultancy, student recruitment, digital marketing or a service-based organization will be an advantage.
• Candidates with a strong portfolio of social media content, scripts or community engagement work will be preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong practical social media skills and a good portfolio may also be considered.

• Excellent Bangla and English communication skills.
• Strong writing, typing and interpersonal skills.
• Quick and professional response ability.
• Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and social media trends.
• Ability to handle negative comments and difficult conversations professionally.
• Good understanding of Meta community standards and platform policies.
• Creative mindset with an understanding of Gen Z content and internet culture.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, Meta Business Suite or similar social media tools will be an advantage.

Office Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Location: Banani, Dhaka
