- Process, scrutinize, and execute day-to-day desk-level operational tasks of the Bank’s Trade Service Department including Import, Export, Bank Guarantee, and Foreign Remittance (inward/outward) transactions in strict compliance with foreign exchange guidelines, national trade policies, and international regulations.
- Ensure strict adherence to GFET, UCP 600, ISBP, URC 522, URR 725, Import & Export Policy Orders, Incoterms, and SWIFT message standards while actively mitigating operational risks.
- Prepare and submit accurate periodic statements, returns, and MIS to Bangladesh Bank through online monitoring system (TMS) and Head Office within stipulated deadlines.
- Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory audits, including comprehensive inspections by regulators pertaining to the foreign trade portfolio.
- Conduct periodic field visits to exporter factories and business premises to verify operational authenticity and ensure client activities align with national laws.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Business Development units to commercialize trade services, handle client queries, and generate incremental revenue.
