Site Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Dhaka. The Site Engineer will oversee daily site operations for cabinet and wardrobe installations, ensuring work is completed according to design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Responsibilities include coordinating with civil and structural engineers, supervising installation teams, monitoring construction and fitting progress, and resolving technical issues on site. The role also involves conducting quality checks, maintaining site documentation, and communicating with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure timelines and expectations are met. The Site Engineer will support continuous improvement in site processes and contribute to efficient, high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision and coordination skills, with prior experience in managing installation or construction activities.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, site staff, and clients, and to report issues and progress clearly.
• Candidates should possess quality control skills, including the ability to inspect work, ensure adherence to specifications, and enforce safety and workmanship standards.
• Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to interior fit-out, fixtures, and installation practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; membership in a professional engineering body is an advantage.
• Experience in furniture, interior fit-out, or construction projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use basic site measurement tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work extended hours on site when required.
