Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to engineering designs, technical specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, contractors, and survey teams, monitoring site progress, conducting inspections, and resolving technical issues on-site. The role also involves reviewing drawings, assisting with planning and scheduling, preparing site reports, and supporting quality control and compliance with local regulations. The Site Civil Engineer is expected to provide practical input to optimize construction methods and support timely project delivery.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering, with knowledge of Civil Engineering Design and practical application on construction sites.
• Experience working in teams with other Civil Engineers and involvement in Planning for infrastructure or construction projects.
• Understanding of Stormwater Management principles and related civil engineering practices for drainage and site development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and local regulations applicable to civil works in Bangladesh.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and basic MS Office applications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced site environment.
