Shopify Apps Developer

Ecomgiantz is a growing eCommerce technology company working with international brands, agencies, and businesses across Shopify, Shopify Plus, eCommerce development, marketplace management, AI automation, and custom technology solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Apps Developer who has strong hands-on experience developing Shopify Public Apps and Private/Custom Apps.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Shopify Public Apps
• Develop Shopify Private/Custom Apps for specific merchants and business requirements
• Build scalable Shopify applications and SaaS-based solutions
• Work with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST API, and Webhooks
• Work with Shopify CLI, App Bridge, Polaris, OAuth, and Shopify authentication
• Develop custom Shopify integrations and third-party API integrations
• Build features related to products, orders, customers, inventory, fulfillment, subscriptions, and automation
• Develop and maintain Shopify App Store applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Shopify apps
• Implement secure and scalable application architecture
• Collaborate with Shopify developers, UI/UX designers, project managers, and international clients
• Understand business requirements and convert them into reliable technical solutions
• Stay updated with Shopify API changes, platform updates, and development best practices

Required Skills and Experience :

• 3–4+ years of professional experience in Shopify App Development
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Public Apps
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Private/Custom Apps
• Excellent knowledge of Shopify APIs
• Strong experience with GraphQL and REST API
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with React / Next.js
• Good understanding of OAuth, Webhooks, API authentication, and app permissions
• Experience with Shopify CLI and App Bridge
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and solve technical problems

• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Shopify App Store
• Experience working with Shopify Plus
• Knowledge of Shopify Functions
• Experience with Checkout UI Extensions
• Experience with Shopify Flow
• Experience building SaaS applications
• Experience with payment, shipping, ERP, CRM, POS, or marketplace integrations
• Experience with AWS, Vercel, or other cloud platforms
• Understanding of Shopify App Store requirements, review process, and compliance
