Role Description This full-time, on-site Sheet Metal Worker role is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Sheet Metal Worker will cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components according to technical drawings, measurements, and project specifications. Daily tasks include using hand and power tools, performing basic welding operations, fitting and installing metal parts, and inspecting completed work for accuracy and quality. The role involves working with supervisors and team members to plan tasks, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and follow all safety and compliance procedures. The Sheet Metal Worker may also assist with repairs, modifications, and fabrication work for specialized projects, including equipment or structures used in industrial and, where applicable, aircraft-related applications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
• Practical experience in metalworking processes, including cutting, bending, forming, and finishing metal parts.
• Working knowledge of welding techniques suitable for sheet metal work and safe operation of welding equipment.
• Experience handling sheet metal materials, reading measurements, and following fabrication drawings or templates.
• Familiarity with metal components or structures used in industrial or aircraft-related applications is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work collaboratively in a workshop environment.
• Previous experience in sheet metal or fabrication work; vocational training or certification in a related trade is beneficial.
