Role Description

The SEO Specialist is responsible for optimizing website content, conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, executing link-building strategies, and analyzing web analytics to maximize site performance and visibility. Collaborating efficiently with web development and marketing teams to implement best SEO practices will be a critical part of the position.

Job Responsibilities

• Devise and execute effective SEO strategies to increase website visibility and develop web optimization plans.
• Perform regular key-word research, manage SEO campaigns, conduct cost analysis and continuously improve search engine rankings.
• Conduct deep market research and gather market insights to develop strong action plans with an in-depth understanding of products and client’s needs to accelerate marketing efforts.
• Identify and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and gather relevant data to implement best SEO practices.
• Prepare detailed SEO reports, track, analyze web analytics, PPC initiatives and campaigns to maximize ROI.
• Conduct A/B testing, technical SEO audits, on-page and off-page SEO, measure and manage campaign performance.
• Monitor user experience, suggest improvement and strategies to increase conversion, site speed, crawlability and indexing.
• Coordinate with the marketing and web development team to ensure the best SEO strategy implementation for search engine marketing.

Job Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role ideally in SaaS marketing start-ups.
• Proven working experience and strong understanding in SEM, PPC, Google and meta ad campaigns, technical SEO and search engine algorithms.
• Familiarity with various marketing automation and SEO tools e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs Google analytics, key-word planner, search engine console etc.
• Working knowledge in HTML, CSS, java script, website architecture would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to work independently in a start-up remote work set-up.
