Senior Video Editor

Who we are

Montage Motion Limited. We edit. That's it, that's the whole thing.

No "full-service agency" energy, no ten departments, no diluted focus. Just a room full of people who care way too much about pacing, color, and whether that transition earned its place. TVCs, branded content, docs, fiction, online video — if it needs to be cut, we cut it. And we cut it better than it needed to be.

What you'd actually be doing

• Taking a terrifying folder of raw footage and turning it into something people rewatch
• Advanced editing — assembly, rhythm, structure, the whole craft
• Color grading that makes clients go "wait, is this the same footage?"
• Motion graphics when the story needs them — titles, lower thirds, clean supers
• Sitting with directors, producers and designers and actually having opinions
• Juggling multiple projects without your project folders becoming a crime scene
• Holding the line on brand guidelines and delivery specs, every single time

Green flags we're looking for

• You understand production, not just post — you know what happened on set and why it matters in the edit
• Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop — you're fluent, not googling shortcuts
• Color grading is a skill you have, not a preset you apply
• Deadlines don't rattle you. Fast-paced is your normal speed.
• You've mentored junior editors before (or you'd genuinely enjoy it)
• Degree/diploma in Film, Media, Comms — nice. A reel that speaks for itself — better.

Red flags (respectfully)

• "I'll fix it in post" as a personality
• Delivering without checking audio levels
• Rendering at 11:58 PM for a 12:00 AM deadline 💀

The deal

You get to go deep on one craft instead of spreading thin across five. Real projects, real brands, real creative say. A team that will argue with you about a cut for twenty minutes because the cut matters.

Bring the reel. Timeline screenshots welcome. Let's make something worth watching.
