Senior Product UI/UX Designer — Mobile App
Company: Impact Arc Solutions
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
About the Role
Impact Arc Solutions is hiring a Senior Product UI/UX Designer to lead the design of a consumer-facing digital platform currently under active development.
This is not a graphic design or screen-by-screen UI role.
The platform already has an established web product, backend architecture, core features, user journeys, and multiple user experiences. We are now looking for an experienced product designer who can understand the existing product and translate it into a cohesive, intuitive and premium mobile experience for iOS and Android.
The selected designer will be responsible for the complete mobile product experience—from UX architecture and user flows to high-fidelity interfaces, interaction patterns, prototypes, scalable Figma systems and developer-ready handoff.
The product itself will be introduced in detail during the selection process.
What You Will Do
Mobile Product UX
* Audit the existing web product, user journeys and current interface before beginning mobile design.
* Translate existing product functionality into a mobile-first experience, rather than simply resizing web screens.
* Develop mobile information architecture, navigation models and end-to-end user flows.
* Design intuitive experiences for complex, interconnected product features and different user types.
* Identify UX gaps, inconsistencies and unnecessary friction in existing journeys.
* Consider empty, loading, error, permission, offline and other relevant product states.
* Apply appropriate iOS and Android interaction patterns while maintaining a consistent product identity.
UI & Interaction Design
* Create wireframes, high-fidelity mobile interfaces and interactive prototypes.
* Establish clear visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, grids and interaction patterns.
* Design polished micro-interactions and meaningful feedback states where appropriate.
* Maintain consistency across screens without making the experience repetitive or overly template-driven.
* Ensure accessibility and usability are considered throughout the design process.
Master Figma Design System
A major responsibility of this role will be establishing and maintaining the product’s master Figma design system.
This includes:
* Design foundations and tokens
* Typography and spacing systems
* Colour and semantic colour structure
* Grid and layout rules
* Reusable components and component variants
* Auto Layout
* Variables and styles
* Form and input patterns
* Navigation patterns
* Feedback and system states
* Iconography guidelines
* Mobile-specific components
* Responsive behaviour where applicable
* Clear component naming and documentation
The system should be structured so that future product screens and features can be designed consistently and efficiently.
Product Thinking
We are looking for someone who can think beyond visual appearance.
The designer should be able to:
* Understand why a feature exists before designing it.
* Challenge UX decisions when there is a better solution.
* Balance user needs, business requirements and technical constraints.
* Recognise dependencies between different parts of a complex product.
* Make design decisions based on usability and product logic—not design trends alone.
* Explain and defend design decisions clearly.
Working With Engineering
You will work closely with the development team throughout implementation.
You should be comfortable:
* Understanding an existing digital product and its technical constraints.
* Preparing developer-ready Figma files.
* Defining component behaviour and interaction states.
* Documenting responsive and interaction rules.
* Reviewing implemented interfaces against approved designs.
* Communicating directly with developers when implementation questions arise.
* Understanding the fundamentals of HTML/CSS and modern frontend/component-based development.
You are not expected to be a frontend developer. However, you should understand digital product implementation well enough to design solutions that can realistically be built.
What We Are Looking For
Required
* Strong professional experience designing real digital products, particularly mobile applications.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped or implementation-ready product work.
* Advanced proficiency in Figma.
* Strong understanding of mobile UX and interaction design.
* Experience building and maintaining scalable design systems.
* Strong information architecture and user-flow skills.
* Experience designing complex products with multiple interconnected features.
* Understanding of iOS and Android design conventions.
* Strong visual design fundamentals including typography, hierarchy, spacing and layout.
* Experience creating interactive prototypes.
* Ability to work closely with developers and product stakeholders.
* Ability to communicate the reasoning behind design decisions.
Strongly Preferred
Experience designing one or more of the following:
* Consumer mobile applications
* Social or community platforms
* Creator platforms
* Messaging or communication products
* Marketplace or multi-sided platforms
* Rewards, loyalty or wallet experiences
* Business dashboards or workspaces
* Content feeds and profile-based products
* Products involving multiple user roles
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio is mandatory.
We are particularly interested in seeing complete product case studies rather than isolated visual screens.
For at least one project, candidates should be prepared to explain:
* The problem they were solving
* Their individual contribution
* Information architecture and user-flow decisions
* Mobile UX decisions
* Design-system approach
* Important interaction and edge cases
* How the design was handed over to engineering
* What was ultimately implemented or shipped
Beautiful visuals alone will not be sufficient for this position.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to:
1. Portfolio and experience discussion
2. Product/UX interview
3. A short paid practical design assessment
4. Final discussion
The practical assessment will focus on product thinking, mobile UX, design-system thinking and communication of design decisions, rather than the number of screens produced.
Education
A degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science or a related discipline is welcome but not mandatory.
For this position, demonstrated product-design capability, portfolio quality and practical experience will carry greater weight than academic qualifications.

The Designer We Want
We are looking for someone who can take an existing, complex digital product and turn it into a simple, coherent and beautifully executed mobile experience—while creating a design system strong enough to support the product as it grows.
