Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Student Counselor role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Senior Student Counselor will guide prospective students and families through the entire study abroad process, including initial consultation, profile assessment, university and course selection, and application support. The role involves providing clear information on admission requirements, visa procedures, scholarships, and financial planning, while maintaining accurate documentation and records. The counselor will conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions, respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and follow up proactively to support students until enrollment. The position also includes collaborating with university partners, attending education fairs and events, and mentoring junior counselors to ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Education-related skills, with experience guiding learners on study options and admission processes.
• Candidates should possess effective Career Counseling skills to help students align academic choices with long-term career goals.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and Bangla, and the ability to present complex information simply.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, demonstrating empathy, responsiveness, and professionalism when dealing with students and families.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field are preferred.
• Prior experience in overseas education consulting, university admissions, or related advisory roles in Bangladesh or the region is highly beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple student cases concurrently.
• Comfort with digital tools and CRM or student management systems, and willingness to work to clear targets and performance metrics.
