Senior Software Engineer

Role Description As a Senior Software Engineer at Authentic Four Technology, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile application solutions, including ERP, healthcare, and telemedicine platforms. You will lead and participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, reviewing code from peers, mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with product and design teams, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. You will also contribute to architectural decisions, performance improvements, and security best practices across projects. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chattogram, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong academic foundation in Computer Science or a related discipline, with solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proven experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Proficiency in Programming using modern languages and frameworks commonly used in web and mobile ecosystems (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar).
• Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns, and ability to apply them to real-world system architecture.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with mobile application development (Android and/or iOS) and ERP or healthcare-related systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to writing maintainable, testable code.
