Senior Software Engineer

RedLime Solutions is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our core engineering team in Dhaka.

This role extends beyond feature delivery. You will be responsible for designing scalable systems, improving the performance and reliability of existing applications, upholding engineering standards through code review, and supporting the technical growth of the team.

Our primary stack is Laravel and React. However, we place greater value on engineering judgement than on any particular toolset. Candidates with substantial experience in comparable stacks — Node.js, Django, Go, Vue, and others — are encouraged to apply.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack
• Optimise application performance, including database queries, indexing, and caching strategies
• Implement asynchronous workflows using queues, events, and background job processing
• Build responsive, well-structured frontend interfaces and integrate RESTful APIs
• Apply established security practices and maintain meaningful automated test coverage
• Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into our products, and apply AI tooling to improve development efficiency
• Conduct code reviews, resolve production issues, and mentor fellow engineers
• Contribute to architectural planning and technical decision-making

• Approximately 5 years of professional backend development experience (PHP/Laravel preferred) and 4 years with React
• Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Proficiency in MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including query optimisation and indexing
• Practical experience with caching, queues, and background job processing
• Working knowledge of Git and collaborative code review workflows
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, Pest, and Jest
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS or VPS environments
• Demonstrated use of AI development tools in a professional context
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities
