Job Overview

STACKIFYA is looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Shopify theme development, custom functionality, performance optimization, and modern front-end development.

You will be responsible for building high-quality Shopify stores, customizing existing stores, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and other developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify stores from scratch based on UI/UX designs.
• Build custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
• Customize and extend existing Shopify themes and sections.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect Shopify stores.
• Develop reusable Shopify sections, blocks, and components.
• Implement custom features and functionality based on client requirements.
• Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps.
• Work with Shopify APIs and external service integrations.
• Optimize stores for speed, performance, SEO, and conversion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Shopify and front-end issues.
• Ensure compatibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Follow clean coding standards and maintain scalable codebases.
• Work closely with designers, developers, project managers, and QA teams.
• Review code and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Handle multiple Shopify projects while maintaining quality and deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, technologies, and eCommerce best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
• Strong experience with Shopify Liquid and custom theme development.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive development.
• Familiarity with React, Next.js, or headless Shopify/Hydrogen.
• Strong understanding of Shopify's theme architecture, sections, blocks, templates, and metafields.
• Experience converting Figma/UI designs into accurate Shopify implementations.
• Knowledge of Shopify Functions and Checkout Extensibility.
• Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.
• Good understanding of Git and version control.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Shopify performance and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with Shopify Plus.
• Experience with custom Shopify apps or integrations.
• Understanding of CRO and eCommerce UX best practices.
• Previous experience working with international Shopify clients.
• Candidates with strong communication skills and excellent English proficiency will get preference.
