- Own the complete SEO strategy, roadmap, execution standards, and organic-growth direction for company and client websites.
- Lead, mentor, review, and manage a multi-level SEO department consisting of Senior SEO Executives, SEO Executives, and Junior SEO Executives.
- Turn business goals into practical SEO plans, assign priorities, delegate work clearly, and ensure the team delivers high-quality work on time.
- Perform and supervise advanced technical SEO audits covering crawling, indexing, canonicalization, redirects, robots.txt, XML sitemaps, status-code issues, duplicate content, rendering, JavaScript SEO, pagination, faceted navigation, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and site migrations.
- Diagnose difficult ranking, traffic, indexation, crawl-budget, and site-quality issues and guide the team or development team toward effective fixes.
- Lead on-page SEO including keyword research, search-intent analysis, content mapping, topical authority, content briefs, heading structure, internal linking, entity optimization, SERP analysis, and page-level optimization.
- Develop and supervise sustainable off-page SEO strategies including backlink analysis, competitor link research, outreach, digital PR opportunities, link-quality control, anchor strategy, and risk management.
- Apply strong traditional SEO principles while also building practical AI SEO strategies for Google AI Overviews, answer engines, LLM-driven search, entity visibility, structured content, brand authority, and citation opportunities.
- Stay current with Google core updates, spam updates, search-quality changes, ranking-system developments, and major changes in AI search; translate those changes into clear actions for the team.
- Plan and oversee SEO recovery strategies after algorithm updates, major traffic drops, migrations, redesigns, or technical failures.
- Use GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog and/or comparable tools to make data-backed decisions.
- Connect SEO performance with business results by improving landing-page quality, user journeys, calls to action, lead generation, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Build SEO SOPs, QA checklists, reporting standards, audit frameworks, and repeatable workflows that improve department efficiency and consistency.
- Review the quality of keyword research, content plans, on-page work, technical recommendations, backlink work, reports, and SEO experiments before they are finalized.
- Work closely with developers, content writers, designers, marketing teams, and management to ensure SEO requirements are implemented correctly.
- Set realistic KPIs and performance targets based on rankings, qualified organic traffic, conversions, revenue/leads, technical health, indexation, content performance, and business objectives.
- Experience: 7 to 10 years
